Stella Rae Vance

Stella Rae Vance, 79, of Dingess, WV, departed this life on January 23, 2020 at Trinity Healthcare, Henlawson, WV.

She was born December 8, 1940 in Tazwell, VA, the daughter of the late Andrew Williamson and Marjorie Perry Williamson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death her grandparents, Lark & Nancy Ona Williamson and John Henry & Anna Belle Perry, her husband, Donald Vance, her son, Donald Ray Vance, sister-in-law, Silvia Williamson.

Stella enjoyed going to church, singing at church, crocheting, going to United Baptist Church, word search puzzles and visiting with family and friends. She won first place in 2015, 2016 and 2019 in the Clothes Pin Obstacle Course.

Those left to cherish her memory include four brothers, John D. Williamson of Dingess, Andrew Jr (Muriel) Williamson of Southgate, MI, Benny (Marsha) Williamson of Dingess and Rudy (Janice) Williamson of Chapmanville, WV.

Services will be held at 12:00 pm, Monday, January 27, 2020 at Freeman Funeral Home with Elder Sidney Stroud officiating. Burial will follow at the Williamson Cemetery, Wayne, WV.

Visitation will be on Sunday, January 26, 2020 from 6 – 9 pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
