Sandra Kay Nelson

Sandra Kay Nelson, 64, of Logan WV, departed this life on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at Charleston Memorial Hospital.

She was born August 25, 1954 in Holden WV, the daughter of the late George Moore and Lucille Northam of Logan WV.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Con and Opal Davis Bryant, and William Moore and Beulah Moore; her father and mother in law Sherman Nelson and Juanita Hughes; one son Brent George Moore.

Sandra was active in Dempsey Branch Church of God. She enjoyed drawing and writing poetry.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband David Nelson; two sons Timmy Nelson of South Charleston WV, and David (Juanita) Nelson of Verdunville WV; one sister Rhonda Moore Williamson (Victor) of Mudfork WV, one brother George D. Moore of Georgia; special friend whom was like a sister, Helen Collier; one niece, Stephanie Craddock; and one nephew, Eric Williamson.

Memorial Services will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Freeman Funeral Home.

Visitation will be on Saturday, November 17, 2018 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at Freeman Funeral Home.
