Samuel Shadd II

Samuel Shadd II, 62, of Pigeon Roost, Chapmanville, WV, departed this life on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at Logan Regional Medical Center.
He was born May 5, 1957 in Logan, WV, the son of the late Samuel Shadd Sr and Betty Jane Vance.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death his grandparents, John and Laura Shadd and Zettie and Early Vance; one sister, Rebecca Griggs; and his father and mother-in-law, Beck and Pauline Ryder 
Samuel loved C&O Trains, driving a school bus and his beloved dog, Buster.
Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Samuel Shadd III of Chapmanville; three sisters, Shelia Mullins of Chapmanville, Lisa (Larry) Bryant of Lake and Thressa (Richard) Lester of Charlotte, NC; three brothers, John Edward Shadd of Chapmanville, Christopher (Carla) Shadd of Crawley and Mark (Brandi) Shadd of Chapmanville; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at the funeral home with Joey Kennedy officiating. Burial will follow at the Shadd Family Cemetery, Pigeon Roost, Chapmanville, WV.
Visitation will be on Monday, November 11, 2019 from 6 – 9 pm at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
