Robin Elaine Reynolds, 57, of Chapmanville, WV formerly of Big Ugly, WV, departed this life on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at her residence.
She was born January 11, 1962 in Madison, WV, the daughter of Dottie Reynolds of Harts, WV and the late Raymond Reynolds.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ed and Lucy Reynolds and Stonewall and Briza Dalton and the father of her daughter, Mike Dalton.
In 1976 bicentennial First Miss Flame for Harts Volunteer Fire Department. Robin was a majorette for Harts High School, a 4H member and a 1979 graduate of Harts High School. She was a singer who participated in voice competitions and was an immaculate house keeper, and a magnificent cook, especially apple pie. Robin was a collector of vintage collectibles and clothing. She was a traveler who met strangers that became friends. Above all Robin enjoyed being “Granny” to her one and only granddaughter, Layla ShaLynn Adkins.
In addition to her mother, those left to cherish her memory include her lifelong companion Larry Scott Adams; one daughter, Emile Rose Dalton of Chapmanville; one son, Gregory Scott Adams of Chapmanville; two sisters, Cheryl (Tony) Duncan of Kingsport, TN and Delores (Gary) Thomas of Big Creek, WV; her twin brother, Scott Reynolds of Harts, WV; one granddaughter, Layla ShaLynn Adkins of Chapmanville; her “Fur Baby” Daisy; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 12:00 pm, Friday, February 15, 2019 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Artist officiating. Burial will follow at the Adams Family Cemetery, Brushy Fork, Chapmanville, WV.
Visitation will be on Thursday, February 14, 2019, 2019 from 6 – 9 pm at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Honorary pallbearers will be Scott Reynolds, Bryan Adkins, David Thomas, Roger Conley and Joe Conley.
