Phillip Ray Conley

Phillip Ray Conley, 44, of Harts, WV, departed this life on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at Logan Regional Medical Center.

He was born September 28, 1974 in Logan, WV, a son of Dottie Conley and the late Denver Ray Conley.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Arlen and Theora Powers and Raymond and Georgie Hager and his mother-in-law, Avanell Kirk.

Phil enjoyed singing, making people laugh and spending time with his family. He attended Piney Community Church.

In addition to his mother, those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Renita Conley; one daughter, Brianna Nicole Conley; one son, Elijah Creed Conley; one brother, Moscoe (Loretta Adams) Conley; and his father-in-law, Douglas Kirk.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, January 14, 2019 at Crawley Creek Church of God with Rev. Manasses Hensley Jr and Pastor Kenny Kirk officiating. Burial will follow at the Lucian Kirk Cemetery, Harts, WV.

Visitation will be on Sunday, January 13, 2019 from 6 – 10 pm at the church.

Pallbearers will be Raymond Conley, Scott Keller, Joe Butcher, Dave Kirk, Ray Ferrell, D.J. Kirk, Joe Kirk, Wade Kirk, Tommy Maynard and Dawson Kirk.

Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Dingess and Mosco Conley.

Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
