Mona Louisa Miller, 72, of Chapmanville, WV, Friday, November 8, 2019 at her residence.
She was born January 13, 1947 in Cuzzie, WV, the daughter of the late Willard and Nera Blevins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death two brothers, Arlie Blevins and Lin (Edie) Blevins, three sisters, Vicie Hubbs, Josephine (Gary) Hayes and Ginger Blevins and her in-laws, Burl and Mildred Miller.
Mona enjoyed attending church at the Village Chapel Church of God (Holiness) in Chapmanville, doing suduko puzzles, shopping until her girls dropped and watching NCIS. The highlight of her life was spending time with her family. She was a long time employee of Dr. Randy Short and Dr. James Stollings, Associates of Vietnam Veteran of America Life Member Chapter 308 Henlawson.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Chavis Dale Miller; three daughters, Stephanie (Nathaniel) Adams, Trisha (Rusty) Adams and Anita (Barry) Hensley; two sisters, Clara (Arthur) Miller and Velba Blevins (Gene Sanders), sister-in-law, Almedia Blevins; brother-in-law, Harley Hubbs; nine grandchildren, Zachary Hensley (Allison), Abigail Hensley (Jake Vance), Payton Hensley (Rebekka Johnson), Ethan Adams, Kenzie Adams, Jaylin Adams, Colton Adams, Legend Hensley and Alyssa Adams; special friend, Connie Ramey; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Allen Martin and Rev. Dean Sparks officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, Old Logan Road, Chapmanville, WV.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 from 6 – 9 pm at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Nathaniel Adams, Rusty Adams, Barry Hensley, Zachary Hensley, Payton Hensley, and Ethan Adams.
Honorary pallbearers will be Colton Adams and Legend Hensley.
