Michael David Shell

Michael David Shell, 38, of West Logan, WV, departed this life on January 19, 2020 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA.

He was born February 23, 1981 in Huntington, WV, the son of Luther (Deborah) Shell of Monaville, WV and Patricia Mills (Lee) Humphries of Hurricane, WV.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Haskell Mills and George & Vesta Shell.

Michael enjoyed spending time with his five beautiful women (mom, grandmother, daughters and his sweetheart).

In addition to his parents and step-parents, those left to cherish his memory include his grandmother, Cassie Mills of Henlawson, WV; his sweetheart, Jessica McNeely; two daughters, Alexandria Shell of Lyburn and Alyssa Shell of Switzer; one son, Franklin Shell of Cleveland, OH and one sister,Kristine Shell of Monaville, WV.

Services will be held at 12:00 pm, January 28, 2020 at Freeman Funeral Home with Donnie Wells officiating, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at the Watson Cemetery, Branchland, WV at a later date.

Visitation will be on January 27, 2020 from 6 – 9 pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
