Michael Jennings Canterbury

Michael Jennings Canterbury, 56, of Spring Lake, NC (formerly Henlawson, WV) departed this life on Monday, April 22, 2019 at his residence.
He was born June 14, 1962 in Cleveland, OH, a son of Emil Canterbury of Henlawson, WV and the late Phyllis Canterbury.
In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by one sister, Sherry Curry and one brother Christopher Canterbury. 
Michael enjoyed wrestling, football, fishing and hunting and spending time with grand kids and family.
Those left to cherish his memory include one daughter, Valarie (Donald) Chenier of Spring Lake, NC; two brothers, Patrick (Jackie) Canterbury and Mark (Dawn) Canterbury; two grandchildren, Kelsie Kohan and Dalton Chenier; and Jimmy Conley who was like a brother.
Services will be held at 1:00pm, Saturday, April 27th, 2019 at Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Denny and Cliff Collins officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Pecks Mill, WV.
Visitation will be on Saturday, April 27th, 2019 from 12:00pm – 1:00pm at the Freeman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
