Mark Adams Obituary

Mark Allen Adams, 58, of Verdunville, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at his residence.

He was born December 24, 1960 in Logan, WV, a son of the late Paul and Monnie Adams.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Keith Adams and Paul Merial Adams.

Mark enjoyed hunting, fishing, attending church and spending time with his granddaughter.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Belinda Sue Adams; two sons, Harold (Lynn) Preece of Delbarton and Scotty Joe Adkins of Verdunville; five sisters, Permillia (JD) Wolfe of Huntington, Sandy Adams of Whitman, Nancy Adkins (Bob Weisner) of Justice Addition, Rebecca (Reather) Gilman of Whitman and Shawn Carrillo of Whitman; one brother, Jimmy (Linda) Adams of Pecks Mill; and one grandchild, Lacey Jo Adkins.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, October 12, 2019 at the Bright Star Freewill Baptist Church, Melville, WV with Bazzil Goodman and Terry Dingess officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Pecks Mill, WV.

Visitation will be on Friday, October 11, 2019 from 6 – 10 pm at the church.

Pallbearers will be Thomas Wiley, Scotty Adkins, John Wiley, J.D. Wolfe, Tommy Brinegar, Rick Wiley and Thomas Wiley Jr.

Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
