Mabel Leaster

Mabel Leaster, 85, of Chapmanville, WV formerly of Cleveland, OH, departed this life on Monday, November 11, 2019 at Trinity Health Care, Henlawson, WV.

She was born September 10, 1934 in Chapmanville, WV, the daughter of the late William Dewey Stollings and Oma Fillinger Stollings.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death one son, Gary Leaster, two brothers, Thurman Stollings and Oceal Stollings and one sister, Mildred Spencer.

Those left to cherish her memory include one sister, Zelda Pridemore of Crawley Creek; her guardian and nephew, John Pridemore; two nieces and two nephews, Orville, Lyle, Portia and Judy.

Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, November 14, 2019 at Freeman Funeral Home with Jerry “Buddy” Chapman officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, Old Logan Road, Chapmanville, WV.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 from 6:00 – 9:00 pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
