Lowell R. Scarberry

Lowell R. Scarberry, 73, of Chapmanville, WV, departed this life on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Logan Regional Medical Center.

He was born March 31, 1945 in Logan, WV a son of the late Louis and Estelle Scarberry.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by seven brothers, Bernard, Willard, Olta, Lawrence, Clyde, Joe, and Gerald Scarberry.

Lowell enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Gloria Scarberry of Chapmanville; five daughters, Barb (Opie) Nutter of Parkersburg, Loretta McCoy of Logan, Sherri Butcher of Chapmanville, Amber Lee of Mershon, Georgia and Toni Norris of Six Mile; three sons, Rickie (Rhonda) Scarberry of North Bend, Indiana, Lowell Scarberry Jr of Parkersburg and David Meadows of Mershon, Georgia; four sisters, Lorene (Harold) Pickering, Evelyn Resor, Ethel Inman and Lucille Scarberry; one brother, Doug (Ada) Scarberry; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services will be held Sunday, August 5, 2018, at 1pm at Freeman Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to help with the funeral arrangements.

Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
