Linda Ruth (Ball) Fraley

Linda Ruth (Ball) Fraley, lovingly known as “Sis” to many, 68 of Lake, WV went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 13, 2019 while surrounded by loved ones.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents Floyd and Helen (Blankenship) Ball of Hewett, Paternal Grandparents Kenna and Lilly (Ferrell) Ball of Hewett, Maternal Grandparents Ray and Myrtle (Workman) Blankenship of Lake, WV.

Linda is survived by one sister Debbie Bragg of Lake, WV; three brothers, Kenny Ball, Danny Ball, and Joey (Malissa) Ball all of Lake, WV.

Although Linda had no biological children of her own, she loved all of her nephews and nieces as her own! Josh Ball of Lake, WV (Whom she raised), “Little” Johnny (Melanie) Bragg of Indiana, Michelle (Shane) Browning of Chapmanville, WV, Lindsey (Chad) Price of Florida, Seth Ball of Virginia, and Shea Ball of Madison, WV; Great nieces and nephews, Alyson Browning (Trenton), Nic Barker, Madison Smith, Brock Bragg, Cayden Price, Drew Browning, Zayde Price, Madelyn Goode, Bodhi Browning, Bronsyn Price, and Mylo Price. She is also survived by a host of friends who became family over the years.

Linda was a member of the Meadow Fork Freewill Baptist Church where she enjoyed spending time with her church family and friends. She also enjoyed holiday gatherings and especially making her homemade Christmas candies for everyone, She loved and was loved by all who knew her. Last but not least, she was a lover of Yorkshire Terriers, where she “mothered” seven Yorkies throughout her lifetime.

Services will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at Meadow Fork Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Cecil Johnson and Dean Ball officiating. Burial will follow at Family Memorial Gardens, Low Gap, WV.

Visitation will be on Monday, September 16, 2019 from 5:00pm – 9:00pm at Meadow Fork Freewill Baptist Church

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
