Larry "Peanut" Dale Stevenson

Larry Dale “Peanut” Stevenson, 69, of Hewett, WV, departed this life on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Hewett, WV.

He was born March 8, 1950 in Madison, WV, a son of the late Brady and Luella Craddock Stevenson.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jehu “Cob” and Elizabeth Craddock and Draper and Ora Belcher, one sister-in-law, Joann Stevenson and his father and mother-in-law, Jack and Sue Hager.

Peanut was a retired coal miner and the owner of Stevenson Trucking. He enjoyed spending time with family, spoiling the grandchildren, camping and fishing.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Nancy Stevenson; one daughter, Patricia (Paul) Loomis; three sons, Larry Jr (Adrian) Stevenson, Robert (Sara) Stevenson, and Darrell (Tina) Stevenson; five sisters, Sue (Wiley) Kent, Paula (George) Bias, Ronda (Greg) Ball, Gina (Dan) Bays and Pam (David) Cook; three brothers, Gary Stevenson, Michael Stevenson and Stanley (Diane) Stevenson; eleven grandchildren, Mallory, Christian, Landon, Joci, Audrey and Sophia Stevenson, Jordan and Ethan Loomis, Darrell Stevenson, Desiree Adams and Destinee Hale; and a host of nieces, nephews, brothers and sister-in-laws, friends and all who knew him.

Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at Meadow Fork Freewill Baptist Church with Michael Stevenson, Stanley Stevenson and Wiley Kent officiating. Burial will follow at the Belcher-Stevenson Cemetery, Hewett, WV.

Visitation will be on Monday, March 18, 2019 from 6 - 9 pm at the church.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
