Kenneth Allen Burns

Kenneth Allen Burns, 61, of Dingess, WV, departed this life on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at home.

He was born March 14, 1957 in Branchland WV, a son of the late Franklin Burns and Litty Jane Stepp Burns.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son, Scottie Ray Burns; four brothers, Bobby Dale Burns, James Burns, Kirk Burns and David Lee Burns; one sister, Jean Workman and three infant sisters.

Kenneth enjoyed fishing, hunting, root digging, gardening and most of all spending time with his dog Buddy.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Hazel Burns of Dingess WV; one step-daughter, Misty Dawn (Daniel) Pack; one sister, Frances McCoy; three brothers, Paul (Sue) Burns, Charlie (Lucy) Burns and Dennis Burns; two grandchildren, Katlyn Dawn Jude and Carlie Nichole Jude; five sister-in-laws, Maxie Blackburn, Leona Sparks, Ioda Isaacs, Earlane Dingess and Virginia Robinson and one brother-in-law, Flavel Workman.

Services will be held at 12:00pm, Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Calvary Freewill Baptist church with Darrell Isaacs officiating. Burial will follow at Sam Vance Cemetery, Twelve-Pole, WV.

Visitation will be on Monday, January 21, 2019 from 6 - 10 pm at the Calvary Freewill Baptist church.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
