Johnny Leon Bell Sr

Johnny Leon Bell Sr, 63, of Big Ugly, WV, departed this world on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at CAMC General Hospital after a short illness.

He was born December 17, 1956 in Harts, WV, the son of the late Leon and Carlie Bell.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Rebecca Bell, son, Johnny Leon Bell Jr and two brothers, Lonnie Bell and Tony Bell.

Johnny enjoyed playing music and spending time with his family.

Those left to cherish his memory include two daughters, Kimberly Bell (Randall) of Holden, WV and Breanna Bell (Shannon) of Big Ugly; two granddaughters, Arya and Rebecca Jones of Holden, WV; three sisters, Betty Woodrum of Huntington, WV, Lola Thomas of South Charleston, WV, and Freda Collins of Chapmanville, WV; four brothers, Randy Bell (Mary) of Danville, WV, Roger Bell (Donna) Hickory, NC, Harold Bell (Bonnie) of Hamlin, WV and Darrell Bell (Pauline) of Danville, WV; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Thursday, January 23, 2020 at Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Mosteller officiating. Burial will follow at Miller-Adkins Family Cemetery, Big Ugly, WV.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 from 6:00 - 9:00 pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Harold Bell, Darrell Bell, Justin Bell, Frederick Bell, Daniel Adkins and Lee Bell.

Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
