Johnnie Vannatter

Johnnie Vannatter, 68, of Chapmanville, WV, departed this life on Monday, July 1, 2019 at Logan Regional Medical Center.
He was born January 21, 1951 in Fayetteville, WV, a son of the late Herman Vannatter and Lizzie Vannatter Hager.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Della Tate, one brother, Jimmy Hager, one nephew, Kyle Haynes, special sister-in-law, Debbie Hoy and his mother-in-law, Lizzie Lilly.
Johnnie enjoyed watching TV, and spending time with his beloved dog and cat Bella and Max.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 47 years, Carol Berry Vannatter; one son, Johnnie Vannatter, Jr; three sisters, Donna (Sal) Coppola, Yvonne Haynes and Danette (Melvin) Gore; and two brothers, Bobby (Vivian) Hager and Richard Hager.
Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, July 5, 2019 at Freeman Funeral Home with Jimmy Carter officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, Old Logan Road, Chapmanville, WV.
Visitation will be on Friday, July 5, 2019 from 12:00 – 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
