Irvin Workman

Irvin Workman, 90, of Harts, WV, departed this life on Friday, June 15, 2018 at his residence.

He was born October 27, 1927 in Harts, WV a son of the late Floyd and Delia Workman.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Velma Workman, one daughter, Brenda Dianne Workman, one daughter-in-law, Rosalee Workman, four sisters, Pauline Workman, Virginia Toler, Rose Workman and Eunice Elkins and one brother, Ben Workman.

Those left to cherish his memory include two daughters, Daisy (Tommy) Farley of Cecil, OH and Beverly (Erschel) Elkins of Oakwood, OH; two sons, Joel (Blinda Cherylene) Workman and Irvin C. Workman both of Harts: six grandchildren, Michael (Cheryl) Farley, Bradley Elkins, Daniel (Meaghan) Elkins, Cody Workman, Dewana (Matthew) Sellars and Chelsea Workman; five great-grandchildren, Rachel (Tanner) Murphy, Avery Brook Adkins, Amelia Faith Adkins, Levi Farley and Colton John-Erschel Elkins; two brothers, Robert (Silvia) Workman and Rayburn (Odessa) Workman; one sister, Doreen Nelson; and a host nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Kenny Kirk officiating. Burial will follow at Workman Homestead Cemetery, East Fork Road, Harts, WV.

Friends may call Tuesday, June 19, 2018 from 12 – 1 pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
