Hurston Meade Obituary

Hurston “Lee” Meade, 65, of Huntington, WV, departed this life on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at St. Mary's Medical Center.

He was born June 9, 1953 in West Hamlin, WV a son of Elsie Faye Adams of Huntington and the late Raymond D. Meade.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Hurston Davis, Wilma Colegrove, Leeander Meade and Ruthanne Reynolds and one brother, Raymond D. Meade Jr.

Lee loved working, golfing, and spending time with Brianna.

In addition to his mother, those left to cherish his memory include, Brianna Skye Meadows, whom he raised and looked at as his own since she was 11 months old; and one sister, Judith F. Elkins.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
