Hassie Faye Conley

Hassie Faye Conley. 60, of Virginia, departed this life on Monday, December 3, 2018 at her residence.

She was born May 1, 1958 in Holden, WV, the daughter of Carey & Sally Blair and Sherman & Alma Baisden.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Sherman Baisden Jr, mother-in-law, Parthina Conley, daughter-in-law, Sheerea Conley, brother-in-law, John Conley Jr and nephews, Elvis Preston Baisden, Jr and John Cody Conley.

Hassie enjoyed spending time with family and her grandchildren.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Darrell Conley; one son, Jason Conley; one daughter, Heather (Bobby) Chapman; her grandchildren who she loved very much, Gunnar, Maizey and Payton and also DJ “Chunk” Jarrell who she also considered a grandchild; her friend Ginny Dunbar, who always helped her; her life long friend, Linda Gail Corder; six sisters, Cassie (Norman) Williamson, Lassie Blackburn, Cookie (Jerry) Copley, Sally Maynard, Vella Baisden, and Sandra (Charlie) Patterson; two brothers, Bo (Laura) Baisden and Elvis (Debbie) Baisden; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Freeman Funeral home with Ricky Conley officiating. Burial will follow at Conley Cemetery, Chapmanville, WV.

Visitation will be on Saturday, December , 2018 from 1:00 – 2:00 pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
