Glen "Pooch" Lambert Obituary

Glen W. “Pooch” Lambert, 75, of Big Ugly, WV, departed this life on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston, WV.

He was born on May 22, 1944 in Big Ugly, WV, a son of the late Wetzel and Juanita Lambert.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Romona Lambert and one son, Samuel Lambert.

Pooch enjoyed four wheeling, hunting, camping, and spending time with his kids and grandchildren.

Those left to cherish his memory include his companion, Garnell Miller; two daughters, Renea Craddock and Glenna (Tom) Thacker; one son, Brian (Candice) Lambert; four sisters, Geraldine (Wilford) Peyton, Phyllis (Al) Skousen, Betty Estep, and Geneva Kamberling; one brother, Jackie (Shelba) Lambert; seven grandchildren, Michael (Charity) Craddock, Keisha Hatfield, Cody Hatfield, Emily Hughes, Rylee Thacker, Gavin Lambert and Hadley Lambert; eight great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Freeman Funeral Home with Johnny Workman officiating. Burial will follow at the Glen Lambert Cemetery, Big Ugly, WV.

Visitation will be on Friday, July 26, 2019 from 6 – 9 pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
