Geraldine (Vance) Lambert

Geraldine (Vance) Lambert, 74, of Ranger, WV, departed this life on Monday, May 6, 2019 at her residence.

She was born October 16, 1944 in West Hamlin, WV, the daughter of the late Columbus and Nancy (Wiley) Vance.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death one daughter, Betsy (Lambert) Butler, two sisters, Lou Ellen (Vance) May and Mary (Vance) Rakes and her in-laws, Noah and Edar Lambert.

Geraldine enjoyed hunting and fishing with her husband, spending time with her large family going to church and quilting.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Carl Douglas Lambert; daughters, Evelyn Marie (Chris) Dolin of Ranger, Angela (Eugene) Lackey of Ranger, Becky Fiorenza of Mercer, PA, Lindolou (Scott) Stimson of Jefferson City, MO, and Genevieve (Vester) Manns of Harts, WV; son, Ben Lambert of Iron Station, NC; sister, Christine (Leonard) Lambert of Ranger; brothers, Frances (Mona) Vance of Michigan, Dallas (Pat) Vance of West Hamlin and Glen (Gracie) Vance of Ranger; grandchildren, Sasha Crochran, Sean Dolin, Evan Dolin, Aaron Lambert, David (Shawnetta) Lambert, Dustin Lambert, Mickey, Ericka, Sienna and Johanna Fiorenza, Carl J. Lambert Butler, Darrah and Kai Butler, Philip and Katie Stimson, and Davin Manns; step-grandchildren, Keldee Branham, Charlie (Miranda) Lackey, Valerie and Angel Lackey; and six great grandchildren.

Services will be held at 12:00 pm, Thursday, May 9, 2019 at Freeman Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Noah Lambert Cemetery, Ranger, WV.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 from 6 – 9 pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Aaron, David, and Dustin Lambert, Sean and Evan Dolin, Davin Manns, Carl J. Lambert Butler, Mickey Fiorenza and Kai Butler.

Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
