Freddy Keaith Carver, Sr

Freddy Keaith Carver, Sr, 76, of Harts, WV, departed this life on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 in Pikeville, KY.

He was born December 7, 1942 in Harts, WV, a son of the late Lawrence and Ella Carver.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and June Carver and Harrison and Loraine Powers, one sister, Geraldine Brassells, five brothers, James Carver, Jennings Carver, Jean Carver, Kenny Carver and Ray Carver and his in-laws, Gennaro Messina and Margie Martin.

When Freddy was younger he enjoyed hunting and being outdoors. He loved dozing and rebuilding any automobile or motor that existed.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Melody Carver; one daughter, Donna Pratt; one son, Freddy Keaith Carver Jr; two sisters, Elewease Ross (Lanham) and Patty Holtzclaw; three brothers, MacArthur Carver, Gary Carver and Mike Carver (Rachel); two grandchildren, Melody Alexander Chukwu Noe (Augustine) and Heather Marie Murphy; and a multitude of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 12:00 pm, Monday, October 14, 2019 at the Carver Family Cemetery, Harts, WV with Kenny Kirk officiating.

Visitation will be on Sunday, October 13, 2019 from 6 – 9 pm at Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
