Eloise Adkins, 76, of Davin, WV, departed this life on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at Dignity Hospice of Chapmanville.
She was born March 24, 1942 in Harts, WV, the daughter of the late Anthony Everett & Maude Mullins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Raymond Adkins, infant son, Denver Anthony Adkins, one sister, Florene Hess, two brothers, Bud and Wayne Mullins and her father and mother-in-law, James “Big Jim” & Betty Adkins.
Eloise enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, canning, cooking, and feeding the whole neighborhood.
Those left to cherish her memory include one daughter, Debbie (Virgil) Bartram of Davin, WV with whom she made her home; three sons, Ricky (Hope) Mullins, Bucky (Felicia) Mullins both of Henlawson, WV and Donnie (Crystal) Adkins of Stirrat, WV; two sisters, Maria Saunders of Branchland and Arizona Mullins of Chicago, ILL; four brothers, Winford (Freda) Mullins of Jeffrey, Denver Mullins of Welch, WV, Ray (Connie) Mullins of Chapmanville and Buck Mullins of Columbus, OH; six grandchildren, Cody (Chelsea) Adkins, Heather Mullins, Savannah Bartram, Hannah Adkins, Baylee Brooke Bartram and Jacob Adkins; and two great grandchildren, Kylie and Madison Spears.
Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Rocky Chafin officiating. Burial will follow at the Henderson Cemetery, Henlawson, WV.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be family.
