Edith Conley

Edith Conley, 70, of White Oak, departed this life on Friday, August 23, 2019 at her residence.
She was born December 9, 1948 in Whirlwind, WV, the daughter of the late Manasses and Brooke Hensley.
In addition to her parents, She was preceded in death by one son, Teddy Lee; seven sisters, Dorothy (Frank) Hensley, Ilean (Otis) Adams, Ina Mae (Harry) Adams, Artie (Tracey) Conley, Wanda (Paul) Hinkle, Linda (Paul) Adams, and Terrie (Earnest) Adams; three brothers, Edward (Gladys) Hensley, Harless Hensley, and Gary Hensley.
Edith enjoyed singing in church, spending time with family, and working puzzle books.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 50 years, Jerry Conley; two daughters, Rhonda (Lester Jr.) Bryant and Christie (Boo) Dalton; one son, Kevin (Patty) Conley; two brothers, Manasses Jr. (Freda) Hensley and Thomas (Selena) Hensley; six grandchildren, Cassie Mullins, Rachael Mullins, Justin Conley, Blake Dalton, Jacob Mullins, and Emily Bryant; two sister in-laws, Joyce Hensley and Barbara Kirk; and two half sisters, Tammy Hensley and Gidgette (Rethel) Collins;
A Special thanks to Dignity Hospice for all their help and hospitality. 
Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at White Oak Church of Christ with Rev. Manasses Hensley Jr. and Rev. Kevin Conley officiating. Burial will follow at Conley Family Cemetery, Chapmanville, WV.
Visitation will be on Monday, August 26, 2019 from 6:00 pm til 10:00 pm at White Oak Church of Christ.
Pallbearers will be Blake Dalton, Jacob Mullins, Justin Conley, Lester Jr Bryant, and Boo Dalton.
Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
