Eddie Lilly Jr

Eddie Lilly Jr, 84, of Chapmanville, WV, departed this life on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at the Dignity Hospice House, Chapmanville, WV.

He was born April 10, 1934 in Chapmanville, WV, the son of the late Eddie Lilly and Gracie Abbott.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Iris Lilly, two sisters, Mona Justice and Emma Kirk and two brothers. David Lilly and Arnie Abbott.

Eddie enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Those left to cherish his memory include five daughters, Veronica Badger (David McNeely), April (Jeff) Crowder, Teresa (Russell Frye) Shadd, Ellen Badger and Susan Badger; two sons, Brian (Carolyn) Lilly and Chad (Melissa) Lilly; grandchildren, Sarah Crowder, Stacy Lambert (Hielee), John Shadd, Kelli Mathis, Amanda Shadd, Jacob Shadd (Chelsea), Hannah Shadd, Joseph Shadd, Verda Beck, Jeanie Kilhefner, Kaydance McNeely, Destiny McNeely, Alaina Badger, Lillian McNeely, Saydee McNeely, Heather Lilly and Zack Lilly; great-grandchildren, Chase Crowder, Zoey Crowder, Braden Lambert, Brice Lambert, Brett Lambert, Paisley Lambert, Rebecca Shadd, Grayson Shadd, Rosslynn ”Rosie” Shadd, Zeppelin Pillichody, Julissa Kilnefner, Juliah Kilhefner and Maverick; one sister, Glemma Boytek; one brother, Bob Justice; and Phillip & Patty Blevins.

Services will be held at 12:00 pm, Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at Freeman Funeral Home with John Freeman officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, Old Logan Road, Chapmanville, WV.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 from 6 – 9 pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Brian Lilly, David C. McNeely, David McNeely, Phillip Blevins, Russell Frye, and Russell M. Frye.

Honorary pallbearers will be Sherman Kirk, Jeff Crowder, Joseph Shadd and John Shadd.
