Don Lowe Jr

Don Lowe Jr, 67, of Chapmanville, WV, departed this life on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at his residence.

He was born May 7, 1952 in Holden, WV, a son of the late Don Sr & Marie Lowe.

Don was a retired coal miner of 42 years. He enjoyed singing in church, playing golf and spending time with his family. Don was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed WVU football and the Cincinnati Reds and was recently rehabilitated from his Cleveland Browns addiction.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, LaDonna Lowe of Chapmanville; one daughter, Dee (Jamie) Hawkins of Logan; one son, Jared (Kyla) Lowe of Madison; three brothers, Bill (Diane) Lowe of Martinsburg, John Lowe and Melvin Lowe both of Omar; and three grandchildren, Elijah Hawkins, McKayla Young and Allison Bohl.

Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, September 16, 2019 at the Crawley Creek Church of God with Bishop Vivie Marcum and Bishop Harry Dingess officiating. Burial will follow at the Dingess Family Cemetery, Marsh Fork, Chapmanville, WV.

Visitation will be on Sunday, September 15, 2019 from 6 – 9 pm at the church.

Pallbearers will be Chuck Bias, AJ Kirk, Kevin Hanshaw, Brian Collier, Jonathan Strange and Scotty Dingess.

Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
