Debra Lynn (Schultz) Thompson, 59, of Hewett WV, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at Pikeville Medical Center surrounded by her family and friends.
Debra was a retired School Bus Driver for Logan Co. BOE. She was a member of Miracle Prayer Time Ministries and had a fire for God. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many. She had a love for people like no other. If she loved you, you definitely knew it. She loved her family more than anything on earth.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Austin and Nellie (Williams) Schultz; maternal grandparents, Robert and Harriett (Clelland) Henderson; Parents, Richard and Roberta (Henderson) Schultz and brother Robert Schultz.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Clarence Ray Thompson (Bucky); sister/sister in law, Debra Schultz; daughter, Vanessa Lynn Collins; grand daughters, Alexandra and Abigail; daughter, Veronica Lee Stollings; son in law, Terry Omar Stollings; son, Bill (Chasity Mollette) Scott; grand children, Austin (Barbara) Waller, Cloe, Kaylee, Sofia, Joella and a huge host of family and friends.
Following her wishes Debra will be cremated. She didnt want a funeral or for people to be sad over her passing. So we the family would like to celebrate her life by having anyone who new and loved her to come and enjoy company and refreshments, anytime from 3pm to 6pm on Friday, May 24, at Coal Valley Freewill Baptist Church Clothier WV, Kitchen.
In lieu of any gifts Debbie would like for everyone to go to church in her honor. It doesn't matter where just go!!
