Billy Vance Obituary

Billy Vance, 88, of Switzer, WV, departed this life on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Logan Center, 3-Mile Curve.

He was born October 29, 1929 in Omar, WV a son of the late Sonny and Lucie Vance.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jimmy Vance and Bobby Vance and one sister, Betty Lambert.

Billy was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed going to church and talking to his friends.

Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Linda Bailey, Roger Vance, Billy Vance, Jimmy Vance, David Vance, Kendall Vance and Orville Vance; step-daughter, Collen Foster; brother, David Vance; twelve grandchildren; special friends, Carlos and Terri Dingess.

Graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, June 4, 2018 at Highland Memory Gardens, Old Logan Road, Chapmanville, WV, with Rev. Carlos Dingess officiating.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
