Berel Scarberry

Berel Scarberry, 62, of Chapmanville, WV, departed this life on Monday, August 13, 2018 at Cabell Huntington Hospital.

He was born April 10, 1956 in Logan, WV a son of the late Clyde & Shirley Scarberry.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law, Larry & Carol Pridemore.

Berel was employed by the Logan County Board of Education as a bus driver, then he went to Supervisor/Coordinator. He enjoyed watching and playing with all of his grandbabies and watching the animals.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Carolyn Scarberry of Chapmanville; one daughter, Leah (Caine) Dials of Clothier; two sons, Lawrence (Candace) Scarberry and Richard (Sarah Church) Scarberry both of Chapmanville; three sisters, Rosie (Doug) Williamson, Billie Jo Scarberry, and Carolyn (Steve) Bradbury all of Chapmanville; two brothers, Dencil (Regina) Scarberry and Clyde Ed (Jeanie) Scarberry both of Chapmanville; and five grandchildren, Alexis “Munchkin”, Brookelynn “Doodlebug”, Hailey “Pumpkin”, Hannah “Itsy Bitsy” and Emma ”Twinkle Toes”.
