Arthur Harold Dingess

Arthur Harold Dingess, 70, of Chapmanville, WV, departed this life on Sunday, September 1, 2019 at Logan Regional Medical Center.

He was born December 11, 1948 in Chapmanville, a son of the late Thomas and Margie Foley Dingess.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two daughters, Cynthia and Jennifer Dingess, two sisters, Judy Dingess and Lillie Bryant and his in-laws, Calvery and Betty Adams Bryant.

Arthur enjoyed hunting, riding four wheelers, fighting chickens, playing his guitar, and spending time with his family, friends and grandchildren.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 47 years Ella Dingess of Chapmanville; two daughters, Sylvia Whitt and Amy Dingess both of Chapmanville; one son, Daniel (Bo) Dingess of Chapmanville; one sister, Reba Dingess Williams of Chapmanville; two brothers, Thomas (Ruby) Dingess of Big Creek and James Dingess of Charleston; four grandchildren, Timothy Blake Whitt, Jenna Danielle Dingess, Arthur Dylan Dingess and James Brandon Mullins all of Chapmanville; one great grandchild, Kinzley Addison Adams; special friend of the family Brett Bareford; and John Johnson, Timothy A. Whitt and Jennifer L. Brooks who he loved as his own.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at the Dingess Cemetery, Tims Fork, Chapmanville, WV with Hughie Bryant officiating.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
