Angela Marie Thompson

Angela Marie Thompson, 42, of Harts, WV, departed this life on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Logan Regional Medical Center.

She was born April 24, 1976 in Logan, WV, the daughter of Delores Gore of Harts and the late Harry Gore.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ben & Roxie Workman, and Vida & Alva Gore.

Angie enjoyed fishing, crocheting, baking and cooking. She loved taking care of her kids and her beagle Snooki.

In addition to her mother, those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Stewart Thompson of Harts; one daughter, Makayla Thompson of Harts; two sons, Larry “Raggie” Thompson and Jacob Thompson both of Harts; her beagle, Snooki; her special family members, Kathy (Jeff) Smith, BJ DeHeart, Resa (Freddie) Mitchell, Freddie Mitchell Jr, Renae Thompson, Abby Thompson, Delia (Jerry) Adkins, Bertha (Paul) Dalton, Nikki (Bert) Triplett, Violet (Bill) Story, Kay (Danny) Tomblin and Loretta (Tracey) Toppins; and her father and mother-in-law, Larry & Iris Thompson of Harts.

Services will be held at 12:00 pm, Sunday, July 15, 2018 at Morning Star Freewill Baptist Church with Van Collins officiating. Burial will follow at the Ben Workman Family Cemetery, Harts, WV.

Visitation will be on Saturday, July 14, 2018 from 6 – 9 pm at the church.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Thompson, Paul Dalton, Tracey Toppins, and Danny “Stimie” Tomblin.

Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
