Albert Ray Ferrell

Albert Ray Ferrell, 78, of Six Mile, WV, departed this life on Monday, October 29, 2018 at Edgewood Manor, Lucasville, OH.

He was born August 20, 1938 in Tancliff, WV, the son of Melvin Ance Ferrell and Zelda Lilly Ferrell.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Fay Ferrell and one grandson, Gerald Todd Lane II.

Albert enjoyed hunting, fishing and gathering ginseng.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughters, Regina (Todd) Lane of Jeffrey, WV, and Carleana Ferrell of Six Mile, WV; sons, Douglas (Vickie) Ferrell of String Town, WV, Allen Ferrell of Six Mile, WV, Albert Ritchie (Amy) Ferrell of Michigan, Melvin Ferrell of Six Mile, WV, and Harold Lee Ferrell of Six Mile, WV; step-son, Billy Jack Berry of Six Mile, WV; sisters, Anna Alice Arvilla; brothers, Dale Ferrell, Jonnie Ferrell, and Doug Ferrell; grandchildren, Douglas II, Sherry, Charles, Zelda, Brittany, Angela, Ray-Ray, Antonia, Christopher Lee, Agnes, Gabriel, Jacob, and Caleb; ten great grandchildren; and special friend, Michael Settleff.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, November 5, 2018 at Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Lane officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Pecks Mill, WV.

Visitation will be on Monday, November 5, 2018 from 12 – 1 pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Freeman Funeral Home, to help with funeral expenses.
