William "Bill" Miller

William “Bill” Miller, 76, of Chapmanville, departed this life on Friday, March 8, 2019 at Logan Regional Medical Center.

He was born April 28, 1942 in Logan, WV, a son of the late John & Bertha Miller.

In addition to his parents, He was preceded in death by two sons, William “Toby” Miller and Richard Duney Miller; two brothers, Henry Miller and Andrew Miller; two sisters, Marthie and Sarah Ann; and one great-grandson, Tyler Gauge Ball.

Bill enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed drinking coffee and spending time outside.

Those left to cherish his memory include four daughters, Regina (Chuck) Rice, Nina (Gary) Johnson, Jay (Jody) Weaver, and Jamey (Dale) Smithwick; Great-granddaughter but more like a daughter, Jamie Ball; two sisters, Birda Miller and Linda Belcher; one brother, Mossie Miller; thirteen grandchildren, Crystal (Adam Runyon) Brunty, Kathy (Jonathan) Dotson, Jessica, Brandon, Matthew, Brandi, Miranda, Jayden, Elizabeth, Christina, Jeffery, Brenton, and Ashley; along with a host of great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, March 11, 2019 at Freeman Funeral Home with Shaun Walker officiating. Burial will follow at Guyan Memorial Gardens, Chapmanville, WV.

Visitation will be on Monday, March 11, 2019 from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm at the Freeman Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Jonathan Dotson, Adam Runyon, Chuck Rice, Phillip Brunty, Matt Lucas, and Josh Smith.
