Rose Bell (Mills) McCoy

Rose Bell (Mills) McCoy, 62, of Danville, WV, departed this life on Friday, October 20, 2017 at Boone Memorial Hospital.
She was born June 21, 1955 in Chapmanville, WV, the daughter of the late James B. Mills Jr and Beulah M. Mills.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herman McCoy, four brothers, Gondon Mills, Richard Dwight Mills, Ricky Glenn Mills and Ray Mills, and one sister, Geraldine Mills Adkins, and her father and mother-in-law, John Allen & Ella Mae McCoy.
Rose enjoyed spending every moment she could with her children and grandchildren  She loved watching her soap operas.
Those left to cherish her memory include her companion, Anson Tabor of Danville; two daughters, Jennifer McCoy Workman (Richard) of Danville; and Daffenie McCoy Welch Workman (Dennis) of Danville; two sons, Brandon McCoy (Misty May) of Whitesville; Herman McCoy (Jada Booth) of Madison; three sisters, Mary Jarvis of Rossmore, Faye (Charles) Killian of Crawley and Lula (Shelvy) Conley of Crawley; one brother, James B. III (Wanda) Mills of Garretts Fork; eighteen grandchildren, Daniel Scott Workman, Jesse Ray Weekley, Catalina Rachel Rose Weekley, Angel Faith Mitchell, Elijah Herman McCoy, Elizabeth Chevelle Booth, Baby McCoy, Keisha, Chris, R.J., Desirea, David, David Jr., Oather, Halea, Hayden, Logan, and Rambel; and her special friends, Kenny & Lorreta Tabor, and Tessa Tabor.
Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at the funeral home with Joe Lane officiating. Burial will follow at Mills Cemetery, Garrett Fork, Chapmanville, WV.
Visitation will be on Monday, October 23, 2017 from 6 – 9 pm at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Workman, R.J. Workman, Danny May, Herman McCoy, and Brandon McCoy.
Memorial contributions can be made to Freeman Funeral Home to help with funeral arrangements.
