Orbrie Peyton

Orbrie Peyton, 84, of Harts, WV, departed this life on Sunday, May 14, 2017 at St. Mary's Medical Center.

He was born November 9, 1932 in Leet, WV a son of the late Carlos Peyton and Myrl Gillenwater Peyton.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nona Maxine Peyton; one daughter, Angela Mullins; and one brother, General Peyton.

Orbrie enjoyed going to church and gardening. He enjoyed walking in the mountains but most of all he loved being with his friends and family.

Those left to cherish his memory include two sisters, Loretta Ferrell and Linda Thompson; three brothers, Wilford (Geraldine) Peyton, Melvin (Della) Peyton, and Gene (Judy) Peyton; and one sister in-law, Brenda Peyton; two granddaughters, Ashley Mullins and Summer (Jeremy) Arthur; five great grandchildren, Wade Adkins, Jasmine Medina, Allie Jones, Peyton Mullins, and Jami Lynn Arthur.

Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, May 21, 2017 at Freeman Funeral Home with Bethel Purkey officiating. Burial will follow at Ferrellsburg Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Sunday, May 21, 2017 from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at Freeman Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Friends and Family.

Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
