Opal Virginia Woodzell

Opal Virginia Woodzell, 58, of Madison WV, went home to be with the Lord on September 25, 2016 at CAMC Memorial Hospital.

She was born December 31, 1957 in Madison WV, the daughter of the late Henry and Betty Darby from Greenview WV .

She was preceded in death by her Husband William Woodzell, one brother Charlie Darby; and Stepmother, Elizabeth Childress.

Opal enjoyed spending time with her grand kids, and doing anything outdoors. She was also a very outgoing person.

Those left to cherish her memory include one daughter, Stephanie Woodzell; one son, William Scott (Kim) Woodzell; one sister, Patsy (Harold) Dingess; one brother, Howard (Lesa) Darby; five grandchildren, Shauni Paulsen, Skylar Adams, Jacob Woodzell, Austin Woodzell, and Tyler Woodzell; along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Tuesday at 7:00 PM, September 27, 2016 at Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Bowman officiating.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 from 6:00 until 9:00 PM at Freeman Funeral Home.

Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
