Kathy L. Dingess

Kathy L. Dingess, 63 of Chapmanville, WV departed this life on Sunday, February 19, 2017 at her residence.

She was born December 28, 1953 in Logan, WV, the daughter of Thelma Ferrell and the late Bobby Joe Ferrell.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald and Timothy Ferrell, one grandson, Justin Dingess, one granddaughter, Sofie Dingess and her father and mother-in-law, Cecil & Easter Stowers.

Kathy enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

In addition to her mother, those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Danny Dingess of Chapmanville; one daughter, Rebecca (Bobby) Collier of Chapmanville; one son, Robert (Margaret) Dingess of Chapmanville; one sister Glenice “GeeGee” (Jerry) Workman of Chapmanville; two brothers, James Ferrell of Chapmanville and Dane (Chris) Ferrell of Cleveland, OH; five grandchildren, Jessica Dingess, Robert Dingess, Joseph Dingess, Bobby J. Collier and Keagan Collier; and two step-grandsons, Nathanael & Nicholas Collier.

The family would like to thank Misty Adams, Russ Welch and Angie Williamson.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm, Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Freeman Funeral Home with Vivie Marcum officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to help with funeral expenses.

Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
