Jackie Lee Bryant, 65, of White Oak, of Harts, WV departed this life on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at the Cornerstone Hospital, Huntington, WV.
He was born March 17, 1954 in Logan, WV, a son of the late Earsel and Hazel (Adkins) Bryant.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Debra Adams Bryant, three sisters, Virginia Nelson, Mary Lou Nelson and Arlene Bryant and four brothers, Ralph Nelson, Lawson Nelson, Jimmy Bryant and Warren Bryant.
Jackie enjoyed rooster fighting in Blackbury, KY, blue grass music, live music, love songs, fishing, and traveling. He worked in the coal mines and for Ford Motor Company.
Those left to cherish his memory include one son, Keith Bryant of White Oak; one daughter, Sherry Davis of Man, WV; three sisters, Judy Kay Bryant of Mount Gay, WV, Darlene Farley of Monroe, MI, and Sharon (Harry) Bailey of Petersburg, MI; three brothers, Roger (Darlene) Bryant of Youngstown, OH, Paul Dean (Betty) Bryant of Brunswick, OH and Michael D. Bryant of White Oak; six grandchildren, Destiny Cooper, Chase Sumpter, Angel Sumpter, Little Keith Bryant, Jessica Davis and Virginia Davis; and two great grandchildren, Gunner Farmer and Jace Spaulding.
Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Orville Junior Ellis officiating. Burial will follow at the Jackie Bryant Family Cemetery, White Oak, Harts, WV.
Visitation will be on Monday, April 15, 2019 from 6 – 9 pm at the the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
