Arbutus "Pibb" Green

Arbutus “Pibb” Green, 56, of Pecks Mill, WV, departed this life on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Logan Regional Medical Center.

She was born October 28, 1960 in Williamson, WV, the daughter of the late Fred and Gladys Miller.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Roy and Freddie Joe Miller; and her father-in-law, Bob Green.

Pibb enjoyed going to church. She loved to go to yard sales, spending time with her family, her husband, kids and grandkids were her whole world.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Rick Green; one daughter, Mandi (Keith) Vance; three sons, Donnie (Angela) Green, Pete (Kemley) Green and Steve (Natasha) Green; eight sisters, Glenda Pennington, Dotty (Raymond) Brewster, Gernelle Miller, Nina White, Carolyn Adkins, Rhoda (Jerry) Sparks, Patty Noe and Jackie Miller; fourteen grandchildren, Kaleb Green, Tyler Green, Brayden Green, Chelsey Green, Renae Norman, Nicole Norman, Adam May, Tiffany May, Alisha May, Destiny Green, Andrew Cox, Harmonie Green, Julianna Green and Steve Green Jr; mother-n-law, Dellie Green; and a host of nieces and nephews, with one very special nephew Doug Wiley whom she loved as her son, and two special nieces, Jenny Deditch and Jessy White.

Services will be held at 1 pm, Monday, October 24, 2016 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Rodney King officiating. Burial will follow at McCoy Cemetery, Big Creek, WV.

Visitation will be on Sunday, October 23, 2016 from 6 – 9 pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Kaleb Green, Keith Vance, Doug Wiley, Keith White, Dougie Conley and Tyler Green.

Honorary pallbearers will be Chip Rambo, Christopher Green and Bryan Green.

Memorial contributions can be made to Freeman Funeral Home, to help with the funeral expenses.
